Kthos's Death

Kthos was one of the three Great Dragons. It was far bigger than Dorthal or Valinor. It was bigger than giants and bigger than mountains. Yet somehow before the time of the Elves Kthos died. Scholars and wizards have researched and debated for centuries about how exactly Kthos died and what purpose it served in the world before it's death. Some say Valinor killed Kthos, some say Kthos was repurposed into the elves. The Dwarves think the dragon simply went to sleep and that the Gormlaith mountains are Kthos. Edwin Servius, a scholar of the Xares college purposed the idea that Kthos was simply too big, and that it's body could not withstand its own size. Many devote magic users scoff at the idea, since Kthos was made intentionally by the Sun God.
In truth only the other Great Dragons know what happened to Kthos, and they refuse to tell anyone.
