Ridgeback Elephants

The Ridgeback elephant is a elephant/dinosaur hybrid. Built mostly like an elephant, large, tusked, trunk, but with other characteristics closer to dinosaur. Hard scales instead of skin and a diet of both meat and plants. Then there is their defining trait which is rounded spike like exposed bones starting from the tip of their trunks and going all the way down their back. They are kings of their native home, the Lokis Jungle. Rather than fight these beast the native build saddle/battle towers to mount on their backs. The Ridgeback is used for transportation for jungle native and for battles with other tribes, or races.
