Scarabs

The blue backed scarab of the desert is the most common and efficient way of traversing the sands. With four large legs and its light weight they do not sink in the sand. There is their main body where you set the saddle and a large head the narrows towards the face. Their eyes are immune to the raging sands. Their lower half is beige in color, like dried out dirt and their backs as their name implies are blue in color, like the cool crisp ocean. They are 3 feet in height and are quite sturdy. They are capable of holding ten times their body weight.
