Skimmers

A Skimmer is a reanimate corpse that was laid to rest in the water. Their bodies are water logged and falling apart. When a sailor's body dies with unfinished business they reanimate as a Skimmer. Skimmers sink and walk the ocean floor. They surface and attack on shores. They usually don't make it much farther than the shore as their bodies can't handle it. Do not be mistaken however, they are deadly monsters, they use their bite to rip apart flesh. If they get ahold of you their grip can break bones.
