Spitters

Spitters are a common but deadly monster in Ire. Built like a normal spider but much larger. An average spitter grows to the waist height of a grown man. The larger of their species can grow to be taller than a grown man. Spitters build nests underground and create small hunting parties these larger spiders earned their name from the venom the spit are their enemies. If a spitter's venom gets into your eyes you will suffer horrible hallucinations. This distraction allows a spitter to then kill their target.
So if you walking through Ire and see large burrows in the ground, you may just want to take a different path.
