The Battle of a Hundred Blows
The Battle of a Hundred Blows took place towards the beginning of the Egg War. It resulted because the southern clans wished to fight for and claim a dragon egg in the North, but the only way to the north is through the Hundrud Mine. This eventually brings the southern clans to clan Gigan's doorstep. Jarl Haldar gathers his forces to prevent anyone from entering the mine. Clans Karstal, Skjall, Volsung, Dugna, and An Crach all clashed out side Irador(the fortress home of Clan Gigan.) Gigan put up a great fight but they were outnumbered and the enemy bested them and moved into the mine.
