The Blue Day

On February 4th every year The Vale has a remembrance day. It was on this day in 2063 that Filavandrel Hero of The Vale died. On this day The Church of the Holy Sun holds a service, celebrating Filavandrel's life. They tell the stories of his legends and after the service a great feast is held in the church. Blue banners line the walls of the church and ice sculptures shaped like dragons decorate the room. Outside of Xares people still pay their respects. Every hold and every town lights a large bonfire at 7pm and they let its burn into the night sky. Filavandrel's death was a great loss to The Vale, and ever year they shall honor his name and all he has done
