Datura Family

The Datura Family is one of the three most powerful Orc clans of the Orc horde. They are renowned for their druid craft, respected the world over for being one of the safe havens that survived and protected civilization.
The current Datura family is more diverse than any other Orc Chieftainship, Headed by a full blooded Orc Woman, Ulumphia, who married a Human man. Her children are all Half-Orcs, and, despite the respect they are afforded due to their peerage, they still often suffer the stigma's that bloodline so often brings. Many other Chieftains have suggested that she aught to adopt a "proper" Orc child to be her heir. Such Chieftains have also walked away with only a broken nose.
However, due to Ulumphia's surviving relations, namely her Older Sister, who had initially been designated as the Heir rather than her, there is some foreseeable contention for Shara's claim to the position... at least, from the viewpoint of other Chieftains who seek to spread their own influences.
Within the Datura Clan, MOST of her subordinates do not see the bloodline as an important issue. So long as the Clan head is a capable Druid, and has Orc blood, then so long as they marry an Orc the bloodline could hardly be called "diluted". A fact proven by Shara's marriage with a full-blooded Orc, and her Full-Blooded Orc Children.
