Emperor Beatrice Jarkar VII
Emporer Beatrice Elaine Jarkar (a.k.a. the cunning)
The seventh in the line of Jarkars, Beatrice distinguished herself from those who came before her. Beatrice was underestimated by the people given her young age that she took the throne in 750 EM. Little did the populace know how purposeful the taking of said throne was.
Beatrice prefers the title of Emperor Jarkar VII, a title that was not meant to be hers. She had two older brothers, the oldest of which had two sons of his own and was poised to inherit the throne. Emperor Jarkar VII, then merely Beatrice, planned a coup to rival all others. She systematically had her father poisoned, her older brother and his family burned to death; trapped in their holiday manor, and her last brother's throat slit, leaving her to inherit the throne.

Personal history
From a young age Emperor Jarkar VII idolized here fore fathers and their ruthlessness in securing the state while keeping slowly expanding borders progressing toward continental domination. When her father took the throne, he brokered armistice with the northern tribes contingent on the mutual continuation of a non-contact accord and left the expansion in the southern continent to explores and adventurers. Emperor Jarkar believed this to be a grave mistake and used her position of power to employ sages of the dark arts to contact those that had ruled before her father.
Together, the spirits and Beatrice hatched a plan to promote her rise to rule. These spirits continue to act as her cabinet, with the newest member being her father.
