Banora

"Prospering human settlement that has been built in the ages by various races and created to be the center of multiculturalism."
Thanks to its central position, it could use resources of multiple neighboring cities. Thus Banora was quick to prosper and flourish with various races, travelers and professions.
This library contains information about many subject, myths and histories of Irodan. Its knowledge is however limited to east irodan and, while extensive, focuses mostly on common known lore. The library has since grown to contain two section, one major section dedicated to recreational books and a smaller (but still sizeable) section focusing on knowledge and lore. The back area is generally restricted unless the patrons donate or prove themselves worthy to the city.
The city features two rings, an outer ring and an inner ring. These rings are present to protect the city in the case of an attack, but also to separate the several districts of Banora. The gates are usually open and no restrictions are placed for travel between them. Though disdain may follow those who wander the inner circle that are unwelcome.
The outer ring contains most of the commerce of the city. A sizeable bazaar is present around the gateways both east and west. The northern part of the outer ring is largely unvisited and the southern outer ring houses most of the poorer denizens of the city.

The cities populace exsts mostly out of humans (about 40%). The other half exists out of roughly 18% elves, 15% halflings, 12% half-orc, 7% gnomes, 5% halfelf,

Defences

The city features two circular walls, an outer and inner wall. Both walls can be manned and feature double gates made of wood and iron respectively.

Industry & Trade

The city is built to be mostly self sustaining; featuring a large farm area east of the city, it produces enough basic resources to sustain itself. The cities' main export product is the vast knowledge gathered in its central library.
