My mother weaved clothes and my father was a farmer. He wanted me to succeed him once I grew up and I trained my body hard to match his expectations. One day some pesky knights from the kingdom came. Knights in shining armor alright, never seen a battlefield once. The rising taxes made it harder and harder to live an honest life like my parents did. This eventually drove my father to an early death due to the amount of work he needed to do. With no income we were drawn to debt and eventually hunger. My mother passed away of sorrow.   I was all alone. I traveled wit the little food I had left to the castle and with lots of negotiation I became a Knight in training. A 14 year young pup like me training among nobility and fine bred men. Anyway, I trained day in and out and because of my upbringing as a farmer I had quite the strength. Before long I rose in ranks fast. Then, as I turned 23, the knight who caused my despair came again, his armor still shining and even skinnier than before. Now the tables had turned. I used to look up to him, but now he is the smaller one. My hand the size of his head. He recognized me and shoutedly challanged me to a duel. The duel was staged in front of many squads of Halweth. With anticipation for the fight growing strong, the fight however, turned out to be short. In a few swift strikes I managed to disarm him and end the duel. The generals, seeing my fighting prowess decided to promote me to a higher position. Without saying anything, the knight left and never returned.   I was not like him, I fought for what was right. The villagers adored me. Saw me as a hero. I fed the poor and cured the ill. I once saved a poor girl from drowning down in the sea where my mother killed herself years ago. Out of adoration of my work, a wooden statue was erected near the city borders. Everyone cheered and everyday was lovely. Even I found myself a lovely lady and we had a son together. I saw her eyes in him and my heart. Although I was not allowed to have a family, in secret I adored every moment of it.   Then, a call came. A request to help a nearby village of Bandur. It was being threatened by a group of bandits. Packing up with all my squad mates, we prepared for a serious fight. Especially since a major part of Halweths' force was being summoned for this threat.   Upon arrival we found Bandur empty, no sign of life was to be found.
