Airdan Ylyndar
Strategist Airdan Ylyndar
Strategy is best used when there is a pack, instead of a single lone wolf. The youngest of the four oldest Ylyndar siblings, Airdan Ylyndar has a weight on his shoulders that most do not understand. He has to be quiet and calculating, as his entire goal in life is to live up to the expectations set by his older brothers while providing a role model for his younger sister. Closest in age to Reinys, he has a stake in her success and her growth that his other brothers do not have. Airdan and Reinys are often inseparable, going out beyond the walls of the city to hunt and train together. He wishes to protect her, to have her hidden away for her own safety, but he doesn't see her as a child as the older ones do. He sees her as an equal, and that's where his pride lies. Reinys and her prowess is his greatest achievement. The two are as thick as thieves and tend to do everything together. Their father, Elduin, cannot speak of one without speaking of the other, and that always brings great joy to the stoic head of the order. As the youngest of the oldest, he follows in his brothers' footsteps, but instead of a path of training and weapons, Airdan leans heavily toward the side of strategy. In that instance, he surpasses the older three, and often finds himself next to his father's side when the discussion of strategy comes along. He was old enough to remember the great deeds of his father during the Eldritch War, the way the older man implemented strategy. Airdan follows in those footsteps, leaving his brothers behind in favor of knowledge instead of skill.
