Tepidoide

Tepidoide is the name given to the occasion of the mark of the casualty deactivates. Once reignition has occurred people may feel a bit woosy for the next week or so.

Transmission & Vectors

This is transmitted via ingestion of Honey-biotics through the mouth and is not contagious.

Causes

The cause of Tepidoide is an anti-depressant called Honey-biotics, this happens because the Mark of the Enhanced has an adverse reaction to Honey-biotics.

Symptoms

The Mark on the person in question will go dull, referred to as "Going Dull", and lose its power and make the person vulnerable to attacks and consumption by The Lost.

Treatment

The cure for Tepidoide is only obtainable from The All-Father and must be administrated by an Enhanced the way the cure works is by reigniting the Mark of the Enhanced.

Prognosis

There is only one cause for Tepidoide and it happens the same way every time, it is not immediately fatal but if left untreated it will become terminal.

Sequela

If cured the only difference is you know not to take Honey-biotics, if left uncured it only makes you vulnerable to attacks from The Lost and eventual fatality if not already consumed.

Affected Groups

Only the Enhanced are affected by Tepidoide.

Prevention

The easiest way not to get Tepidoide is by not consuming Honey-biotics.

History

When Honey-biotics was first invented people hailed it as a miracle, but after a large number of Enhanced "Went Dull" Tepidoide was discovered, many of the early casualties were cured but those who weren't were either consumed by the lost of died of Tepidoide.

Cultural Reception

Since only the Enhanced are affected by this there is not much reception from other places, when a person does get it other Enhanced are very considerate and helpful in ways like getting the cure for them.
