Dryads

Dryads are elemental wood Feykith and are unique in that they are born out of trees. This is a magical process whereby a Dryad who becomes pregnant passes the child into a tree where it will take on characteristics of the tree as it grows until it is able to step out of this tree. Groves where young Dryads are growing are fiercely protected. The Dryads themselves tend to vary as much as the flora in the area. Their skin take on textures and colors similar to their parent tree's bark and eye colors matching to the foliage or flowers of the parent tree. They are some of the tallest Feykith, routinely reaching seven feet or higher and tend to be lithe, though stronger than their frame would suggest.
