ISR Waveweaver
The Waveweaver is the single most beloved ship in the entire Reman fleet. It is not the mightiest, nor indeed even a ship of war at all. It is not the fastest, most beautiful, or longest serving. It's not even truly the original Waveweaver.
What the Waveweaver is to the people of the empire is a symbol of prosperity and peace. Waveweaver is crewed by Reman and Adventi sailors alike and has the capacity to dive beneath the waves.
Many years ago, when the empire was still struggling directly with the Federation of Advent, the islanders lived in constant fear of Adventi raids. The ability of these submarine marauders to simply burst from the waves without warning made any island feel unsafe, which is precisely what the Adventi wanted as they wanted to surfacefolk to fortify there little pats of earth and abandon the waters entirely.
Of course, this is impossible for the empire, but the Adventi at the time didn't see it that way. It took many honorable diplomats, on both sides, many years to find an agreement that would satisfy both sides.
Now, after such long conflict and so many fearful or resentful it was believed that true partnership would take many lifetimes, if it were achievable at all. The Waveweaver project seemed like an impossible dream. Adventi and Remans uniting not only in peaceful interaction, but actively sharing both expertise and resources to craft something neither could achieve individually was a dream, but through dedication and sheer stubborn tenacity the Waveweaver sailed.
The first Waveweaver was destroyed in a terrible storm, but after one had been built both sides knew another would be far simpler. The current Waveweaver is a far more effecitve vessel than its predecessor, and vastly less hideous in design though the two technologies still do not fuse flawlessly. It serves primarily as a ferry for dignitaries from both sides, but while its cargo may not always elicit the favor of the common people of the empire and federation, the sight of the ship reminds them all that the days of fear and hate have passed and a stronger union has risen in its place.
