The Drop of Creator's Blood
An apocryphal story of the creation, the drop of creator's blood tells how a single drop of the ink Eledra crafted from the merging of her blood and Void fell to the still-forming mortal realm below.
Summary
All versions of the legend agree that only a single drop of Eledra's blood-ink entered the mortal realm, but it is considered one of the most powerful divine artifacts that exists (at least by those who believe the tale). The drop is said to have incredible properties as it retains the power of pure creation and can be used to work magic channeling through the drop rather than one's body. This is, of course, legend as there is no record of such a substance ever actually having been found anywhere in Isesda.
For those who believe in the drop, it is considered a vital component of the eventual end times. They believe that the drop will mark the one who is eventually chosen to conclude creation and cast Void out for all time, remaking Isesda into a perfect realm where the mortal becomes immortal. These teachings are considered heresy by some, particularly in Derathain where preaching of the drop is outlawed, but in nearly all regions where the legend has spread it is considered more feyn story than true scripture.

Spread
While most versions of the story claim that the drop fell without Eledra's notice, there are some versions that describe it as an intentional choice by the all-mother to gift the power to determine some portion of our own existence to mortals. Those who follow this story are generally seen as deeply arrogant by the accidentalists as well as those who do not believe in the drop at all.
Cultural Reception
It was said that the Adamanta held the legend of the drop as scripture. Some modern historians even claim that the ancient Adamanta had sought out the drop physically, but most view this as nonsense. Still, it is undeniable that the Raivanni Dwarves in the northern Heart Ranges are more willing to entertain the legend than most other societies.
Derathaini society is aggressively antagonistic toward the legend of the drop and actively seeks to prevent its spread in their culture. As such, few Derathaini know the legend at all.

In Art
Depictions of the drop, and the remade Liad wielding it, in art were less uncommon for a time in old Atrean society, but most of these were destroyed over the decades and little such art has been made since.
