Void
When Eledra wrote the worlds into existence, she did so consuming herself to do so, but though her blood and body were given to the task she was not alone in her work. Void had been here before Eledra was here, existing without shape or substance or will. Not in this place, as there was no such thing as place then, but existing in a solitary nonexistence, a stasis eternal and unchanging. Then the All-Mother was here, and with her came the concept of here as a place. Immediately Void despised her, and so the concept of thought, emotion, and self were given to Void. This too, it hated for even knowing of itself was a deviation from the eternal entropy which was its nature. Eledra cared not for Void though, and drawing forth the tools of creation she poured out her divine blood into the ink-vial. Hungry for her destruction, Void chased the blood thinking to consume it and by extension to consume her, but this too was Eledra's will. Void's very essence bonded with the creator's blood and became the ink of creation with which the All-Mother wrote everything that was, is, or ever will be. Void remained both within and about creation, but could do nothing to stand against the writings of the creator, as it was as much a part of the act as was she. And so Void was given dimension and color, elements and life, and into existence in the place which once had not been sprung forth the three realms; Vaedra, Isesda, and Tyn. When the work was done as told in the myth of creation Eledra rested, but even then just as she had not been fully consumed by the act so remained a portion of Void in every aspect of existence, and it was immediately upon its work to unmake all things. Decay began the instant after creation and it is written that the time will come when Void will consume all which is to return to its static non-existence, devouring at last even the All-Mother herself.
