Icons are what become of those Kanoia whose stories are the epics that will will be sung for hundreds of years. Whose actions and quests change the very world of Ishtora, for better or worse. Whose very Essence makes them transcend past Life & Death, forcing the Empyrean & Ether to acknowledge their thread in the fabric of Existence.

Summary

The belief in Icons is a relatively recent trend in the area. Starting with Houlheld giving instructions to a companion of his, which is spreading, along with the spreading of Houlheld's doctrine. This discovery has only instigated the adventuring spirit and drive that many Kanoia poses. Each honing their craft, from warfare to the building of bridges, to earn the chance to ascend to divinity.
