Kabbe leather

A durable and highly sought after material in use for widely anything from sandals, clothes, gloves, buckets, bottles, shrouds for burying the dead and for military equipment, especially armor. This is due to it's resilience as well as it being innately waterproof. The kabbe are extremely valuable and a necessity for life in the Solanaveldt, this factor makes it so kabbe are often used until the end of their life, which tends to cause the leather to have a lower quality than if they are killed in the early adulthood. If harvested and tanned correctly, the leather from a kabbe can make an extremely protective tunic.
