Oldstone
Often found as a part of ancient Qalani structures, oldstone is a material that is not well understood by the Kanoia. The blue-grey color is unlike any other stone or ore the Kanoia know of, and is leagues more durable. Often the "nodes" of this resource, which is often just ruins, are contested by different groups who wish to use the material for one of two reasons. One is for worship, many Kanoia and especially Elves treat these places as sacred and turn them into Shrines of the Primeval. It is believed by these Kanoia that the oldstone contains traces of Qalani Essence and seek to be try and feel their presence. The other, is a group of Kanoia primarily comprised of Cavernborn, disassembles Qalani ruins and artifacts in an attempt to understand how they are made. Even though the structures oldstone is used in is thought to be thousands of years old, the craftsmanship remains to be the best that has ever been seen.
