Orcs
Born of stone and ore, these Kanoia were born from those in the Empyrean who felt that worshiping the Qalani was not enough to regain their glory. The Cavernborn are a sturdy folk who settle in Qalani ruins deconstructing them and any artifacts they find in order to learn the methods that they were built. These methods have found them at odds with the Elves and due to the irrevocable differences of how these people seek to attain the Empyrean favor, they may war with each other until their own end...
Viewed as brutes like the Trolls, the “Clayfolk” or Chamur-Halk actually tend to be wise and adaptable, while still having a knack for violence. Preferring to live in isolated communities it is still very common for Orcs to find themselves warring with any number of Kanoia due to their habitation of Qalani ruins. Orcs find success under and above the ground due to their adaptability and their natural abilities with animal husbandry.

Starting Skill: Orcs start with one rank in Resilience. You still cannot train Resilience above rank 2 during character creation. Tenacious: After an Orc hits an enemy with a successful combat check, they add one boost to every combat check against that enemy until the end of the encounter. Whispers of the Wild: Orcs remove up to two setback when making a check to befriend or track any animal or beast.
