Brief
Within the harsh tundra belonging to northern Laimala, there resides a small village tucked away in the rocks near the sea. This town consists of humans and the rare elf and fae, but their numbers are far smaller. It is a tight knit community, which relies on the sea and unforgiving environment. However, they have alliances with two communities that help them when they need extra help:
ice dragons and
Frost Clan bloodkeepers.
Trading With Other Species
Citizens of Bluffside do their best to hunt and provide for their community, but sometimes aren't able to make do. In this case trading with the neighbouring sentient species can help them stock up for the harsh seasons and make up the difference.
Fish Trade
Very few communities fish in the arctic waters to the north of Isidoro. This is due to the frigid temperatures and the dragons that make it their home and the difficulties that causes. This means that fish species native to that area of Isidoro will sell for more; If they can manage to get it out of the community. There are few cargo supply runs that make their way to Bluffside, and that's when the trade-offs occur. It's not much, but it's enough to keep the community afloat.
The Start of a Trade Agreement
During one particularly harsh winter season, the town was hit with fever and many of the capable hunters were reduced to bed rest. It was only when neighbouring Tundra bloodkeepers and ice dragosn saw how the activity in the area had died down, that they stepped in. Gifts of fish, special herbs, and other supplies along with their wisdom, allowed Bluffside to continue existing. When the fever season passed, the village repaid the communities the best they could, and the three entered and agreement.

Our men and women are dying of fever. We don't know if it's the meat, the fish...or just the air, but something's got us bad. At this rate, Bluffside will be a ghost town.
I see shapes out the windows sometimes, at night. The lantern reflects eyes back at me. Demons.
One of those demons came to the door today. In fact, three of 'em. Handed me three rabbits, some herbs. Managed some Common and told me to stuff the rabbits. Broth for the sick. I've nothing to lose.
