Naga's Kiss

The glamour worked perfectly, even people nearby would hear footsteps as she followed the man of the hour. She acted coy with him and played him like a fiddle...It was only when the festivites grew into the late hours, that he took her aside. She let him take her hand, and lead her to his bedroom. He leaned in to kiss her, and reeled back, struck. The flash of fangs against his jugular made him grunt, and as he tried to recover she was curling around him, her glamour sliding off like a shed snake skin to show her true form. The naga woman had iridescent black scales that shone on her cheekbones and exposed shoulders, and she clicked her tongue at her mark as he squirmed in her coils. "Shh, my love... My employeers send their regards."

Brief

The Naga's Kiss was an assassin guild composed of entirely naga. They were well known for their calling card, and where they recieved their moniker from: The Naga's Kiss, a name for the fang marks that would, typically, be visible on the target's neck, marring their skin. Of course not all obviously bit the neck of their target if they were trying to be more descreet, though it would still be somewhere on their person.

Shadows Left Behind

While the Naga's Kiss disbanded ages ago, their mark on society and history has been a struggle to forget and move past. The guild is heavy on people's minds, and where their activity was the highest are still some of the most hostile areas to nagas to this day.

Stereotypes

The main thing that nagas now have to deal with is the harmful stereotypes that humankind plaster naga with. Even prior to the assassin guild existing, human and naga interactions were difficult and hostile, due to their demon nature and heritage. Stereotypes involving their trustfulness or their morals are hard to escape in current time, and nagas must work especially hard to be considered better than their past.

Assets

Venom

One of the highest value assets the Naga's Kiss has in its arsenal is their venom collection. While not all naga are venomous, a good portion of the population is. These venoms are harvested to coat weapons, or to slip into drinks. Often non-venomous naga will apply a Naga's Kiss and spread venom from a vial onto the wound, even if a poisoning isn't the main factor of their death.

I love this assassin’s guild and their calling card. The line about their glamour shedding like snske’s skin is amazing. I especially like how you wrote about the negative stereotypes of Naga.

Thanks! I was really pleased about the line. I appreciate the comment, I wanted to play with why the nagas are so hated and how humans would get those assumptions!
