An incident among human and bloodkeepers sparks a war between the demons and humans. A brief introduction.

The Bloodkeeper-Human War was a bloody and violent war. There is plenty of debate as to who started it, but the details are similar: A bloodkeeper child and a human were both killed. The war spread across the land, humans killing bloodkeepers, and bloodkeepers killing humans. The species gained their name at this time, having never interacted with humans previously.

  With bloodkeepers realizing the exuberant levels of mana in humans, all thought of hunting deer or rabbit was erased. The species hunted and fought humans relentlessly, addicted to their blood. They were eventually outnumbered, and bloodkeepers-particularly of the Forest variety- were nearly hunted down to extinction.
