Projection Tower (The Crossbow)

A now long destroyed tower, this magical conduit has the ability to broadcast magical effects huge distances. The core power system was destroyed by the adventurers, however the building still stands, overgrown by the forest

• The Tower, otherwise known as a The Crossbow, is a magical device that is capable of taking a simple spell and causing its effects to broadcast over a huge area. It is a powerful, but costly tool. To use the crossbow a unique gem must be placed within as a focus. A spell is then cast into the gem and it shatters. There are no known gems left.

History

• The tower has been in the forest For all of living memory. Many people have attempted to claim and use it. The first and most successful was the young archfey who once claimed Dominion on the forest. He Used it to broadcast a constant darkness over the forest that also rendered many creatures unconscious that attempted to push deeper.
• After him the devils took control over the tower intending to find a way to uproot it and use it for the blood war. However they too were defeated long before they discovered a method of transporting the tower.
• With the forest now relatively free the adventurers use the towel on two separate occasions. First it was used in banishing the majority of the devils in the forest. Second it was used to cure an entire town of undeath.
