The Grettles

A small village situated within the marsh multiple wooden and thatch houses suspended upon stilts with dry paths and walkways between buildings. Numerous old women live here seemingly by themselves ( excluding their cats) they insist they have nothing to do with witches. However their numerous black cats, pointed hats and broomsticks tend to give people different ideas. The most notable thing about them is their odd names, with 9 Grettle’s, 2 Nettles, 1 Kettle and Margret (Who loves her flail)….. Oh yes and they make potions.

• The Grettles are able to make most kinds of potions for the adventurers, but will likely ask them to gather rare and difficult ingredients for them first

Geography

While the Grettles do you live within the forest it seems the constant magical tinkering has affected the land around them, making it marshy and occasionally difficult to walk in. However they are still surrounded by the beauties of nature animals seem to congregate around the area the trees grow high and plentiful and the flora and fauna seem to thrive.

History

• The small village seems to have been here for all time the buildings are ancient
• The guild has assisted the town in the creation of a potion that is used to protect the buildings
