Cyxus's Point

There is a land that is right in between the lands of Islemaria and Thaydor that have now, in the past five years, be claimed by the Urskr. The frontier is no less than an icy wasteland. Hardly any creatures live here and hardly any food or textiles can be produced here. Currently, the Urskr do not have any plans for icy frontier but they promise to "make it a resource for the prospering of Thaydor and the Urskr". Regardless of its clear in-livability there is a small settlement that is home to about fifty people. And there is no clear name for this village of fifty and does take on different names, but the popularized one is Cyxus's Point. Even though this land has no really value upfront, the current denizens have found that it is a great source of Kryolite, which is a gem that is heavily used by the Ellavara for cultural and industrial purposes.
There is also a popular legend that circles around this isolated tundra. As the legend goes, it is said that the Urskr are not the only ones living on this icy wasteland. But in fact there is another living being, more specifically a primitive elf race that came before even the Telkathir. They are said to roam around in a place beneath the snowy surface called the Under Rot. And, supposedly, this horror of a place is not as far from the very surface that one will walk on as one would think. There are apparently eye witnesses that have seen people seemingly disappear into harmless banks of snow. One popular explanation is that the primitive elves that thrive in the Under Rot steal away the Urskr by simply reaching a hand out from the ground and pulling them into their inevitable death.
