Eruhodo
Eruhodo was a man who was a noble but never felt that being a noble was his station in life. So at a young age he left his duties and became a nomad. It was then during his travels he found that herbalism was his calling for the potions and salves that he made seemed to be extra potent and so he began to give his craft to people in need. Unlike other herbalists, he never exchanged his product for money, just the promise that his customers will be well. Regardless of his charity he still received food, materials, and a kind workman even gave him a working wagon and horse to make it easier for his services to reach all who need them. He eventually became Hodu the Gwyth and he even gained followers who introduced new ways of divination. Hodu learned and studied these new practices and wrote them down in a book now called "The Ways of the Gwyths and Nomads".
His band of Gwyths never flourished but instead it fluctuated in terms of their number of followers. But this was the wish that Hodu wanted, nomads would come from all over to practice a new craft but it if just happened that they found their true calling, the nomad had every right to follow their true path. May it be marriage and the barring of children or becoming a blacksmith, most Gwyths found their calling eventually. But there were some never left for they felt at home with being a Gwyth. Eventually Hodu found his calling as well, from a fellow Gwyth no less. A newly found Gwyth by the name of Laaleath, who was also an ex-noble, also found herself as the devoted friend and eventual wife of the infamous Hodu. Hodu and Laaleath continued as Gwyths until their dying days.
But before Hodu's dying days a customer asked what was the driving force of his band of Nomads. Hodu replied,"Like my tonics and salves before you the Gwyth lifestyle provides a service. May that service be healing. a family to be apart of, or a place to find your true self Gwyth lifestyle will help the individual." He paused to look at his wife with a smile,"Even if it means helping the individual in unexpected ways."
