The Precipice of the Wartorn
The Barbaric Reminder of the Past
In the Urskr's history, they were not always the civilized peoples that specialize in constant growth and change. They harbor a dark history that is tainted with bloodshed and acts of barbarianism. The outer part of Thaydor, dubbed the Precipice of the Wartorn, for its inability to support any life for the ground is soaked with the blood of their allies and ancient foe. These are the areas in Thaydor that could not be recovered that is said its dirt that is a mix of once fertile soil, clay, and centuries old blood. It is mountainous and any tree that grows there is withered and dry.
The few that live near this range are of low income or have been exiled from the capitol. So it goes without saying that this outlying land is home for crimes, disease, and not to mention not a desirable tourist location. Within these mountains and the withering trees there are also ruins that have been pilfered of most of their valuables but view still visit these ruins in hopes to find more treasure. Or, the legend goes, there is still the presence of one of the ancestors. There are few Urskr that claim he is immortal because he has fed off of the land and soon he will be going toward the capitol sait his appetite while prolonging his life and will not rest until the land is a desolate landscape.
Geography
There is a scattering of mountains and the trees that once flourished years ago are now barren. The soil of the outskirts of Thaydor is dry and able to support very little life, if any. It is said that the dirt of these outlands does still contain the blood of the fallen, mostly because of its color. It is unlikely for this mixture of dirt and clay to still hold on to to any organic fluids but then again the Urskr dare not venture here not because of the vagabonds and deadly creatures that roam here but also most denizens of Thaydor report that the grounds are haunted.
