Plezlian

Plezlian refers to the people, cultures, or regions related to the island of Plezla. The Plezlian culture is a set of customs, beliefs, traditions, and art forms (literature, dress, cuisine, music, performance, or others) that are unique to the Plezian region. Plezla is known as the 'Isle of the Artist' and this is reflected in the Plezlian culture. The basis of these ideals come from a simple quote from an unknown bard:

"Life is beautiful, and art is the study of beauty; so life is art."

Though this quote is heavily subject to interpretation, the point made is that all art is heavily debatable, and in saying so, so is art. 

The Plezlian people come from a variety of different races, predominately including Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, Tieflings, Aasimars, and Kalashtar. Other races are represented, but being a primarily magical island, those races are more prevalent.  

Famous Plezlian Artists include the stage illusionist Master Cavid Dopperfield , death metal band Deathtallica , the clothing company Thromore Tailors , and singer Koojoo .

Plelza is known for its physical art, including paintings, sculptures. woodwork, pottery, masonry, and design. These honed artisans are coveted throughout the Isles for their craftsmanship, and their work can be extremely valuable, and expensive. Wealthy individuals from other Isles will oftentimes pay an exorbitant amount of money for Plezlian art. Even Engineers islands' wealthiest purchase Plezlian exports and services, but new faction rules are making these deals more and more difficult, only increasing their price and rarity further.
