The Specialist's Guard

The Specialist's Guard is the elite unit under The Engineer's Navy assigned to guard, protect, and escort The Engineer Specialists, as well as investigate threats made against the safety of the leaders of The Engineers.

Composition

Equipment

The Specialists Guard as normally fitted with a varying equipment, specialized for each situation, the threat level, location, and which Specialist they are protecting. For example, the Artillery Specialist notoriously receives a significant amount more threats than the other two specialists, so requires a more outfitted detail. On the other hand, some observational equipment can interfere with some testing purposes, so adjustments need to be done when the Smithing Specialist has been involved in experimental/design phases. In general, the Specialist's Guard utilizes advanced tactical gear, powerful firearms, sophisticated sensors, and significant counter measures.
A significant portion of their equipment is devoted to counter magical attacks, out of fear from attacks from The Mages or pro-Mages assailants. Exact specifics related to this are not shared with the public.

Vehicles

Much like their equipment, the Specialist's Guard uses a variety of vehicles in order to protect each Specialist. Armored wagons, steam engines, and even high flying vehicleswill be used when the situation calls for it.

Training

Members of the Specialist's Guard undergo rigorous training and vetting to even be eligible, and from that point they must be approved by the Admiral. Once selected, they are assigned to a specific Specialist, and will stay with that Specialists until they leave the position, to foster a better, stronger, and more loyal connection.
