The Hall of The Trials of Combat serves as the arena where the trials of combat in Azgrimmar is held. The trials is a fundamental part of the Azgrimmarian society, as it serves as the most popular entertainment to the citizens of Azgrimmar. Combat is in the blood of the orcs, and if you are ever to get any respect or reputation in the Azgrimmarian society, showing your strength in the trials of combat is the best way of doing so.

The arena has stood as long as the city of Azgrimmar has existed. It is one of the most mentioned locations in Azgrimmarian historical texts. The size of the arena has been growing bigger and more spectacular ever since it's creation, but since Koran Kor'Tek took the role as "Gamemaster" the arena has expanded more than ever before. It has never been as spectacular as it is today. The gamemasters of the arena is capable of changing the field of battle into a whole lot of different terrains and biomes. How exactly they manage to do this is a trade secret, but there are romours of dwarven machinations and constroction being used.

History

The Trials of Combat has always been held byClan Kor'Tek . The clan has also always bred the strongest warriors, and these strong warriors are usually the ones who have become champions of the trials. The first champion of the arena was the founder of Clan Kor'Tek, Stuggark Kor'Tek. But there has also been champions of other races. The most prominent is Tyryl Bronzebeard andCarron Orcstriker. Orc champions of the trials of combat has often served as generals in the army and admirals in the navy of Azgrimmar. The title of Champon is one of the most respected titles the Azgrimmarian society.
