Personal history
Turgon Rockwater is the rightfull king of the Gondolian kingdom. His family has been the royal family for over 400 years. King Turgon is known for his intellect and cold decission making. He can be ruthless in his cause, if he consideres the cause to be true. He was named king during the second orc/human war, when his father was killed in battle, at the battle of Tyrildin. This was one of the first major battles in the beginning of the war, and so Turgon had to start his rule by leading a war, at the age of 18. Because of this he had to grow up fast. And so he did. It was as if Turgon was born to be a leader during war. His keen intellect and sence of strategy was vital for how the war went, leading 10 years later in favor of the humans. The war had broken out because of interests in land. The orcs ment they had the ancestral rights to the lands of Gondolin, but having been ruled under Gondolian rule for the last 100 years, there was no way the Gondolians backed down. No land was lost to the orcs after this war, but a lot of land was devastated and lay in ruins. During the aftermaths of the war King Turgon would also show himself to be a king of the people, since he was often seen in the towns and villages in his kingdom who was destroyed in the war. He would help out with restorations, and he focused everything in the rebuilding of his kingdom.
In the third orc/human war that lasted for 10 years, and ended 5 years ago, King Turgon lost his oldest son and hair, Prince Turgon the Second of his name, at the battle of East Gondolin Bay. Here Prince Turgons ship "The Royal Rose" would get blasted to shreds, by a orc demolitionship in the middle of the bay. The prince's body was never found. But there was almost no recognisable bodies to be found after the terrible explosion. Prince Turgons death was a massive blow for King Turgon. After this event he is seldom seen, if ever in public. He almost never leaves his palace at Gondolin. In fact no one has seen him in public for the last 3 years. Luckily the people have Queen Lyanna Rockwater, who is just as loved by the people, if not more loved than Turgon ever was. Since his public disapparance, it is roumored that she is the real regent these days.
