Rapha used to advocate the Rillifane teachings about the importance of the cycle of life and how letting things go is key part of growth.
that was until a terrible illness fell onto his sister Yishiar Ava'ari. she had fever and purple spots all over her body. when healing magic from the clerics didn't work, everyone including her parents thought she was being punished for her misdeeds and was almost sent to the pikes.

I have heard that the best place to get a little bit of everything would be in flotsam. Despite being a port for ambiguous merchants. Due to, its geographic position on the archipelago, many ships both small and big, come to re-stock for food which made flotsam a great place for trading.
"hopefully I can find some medicinal herbs for my salve's. I've been wanting to try a few new recipes"
Rapha thought to himself as he slowly walked towards flotsam.

Rapha was quite shocked and uncomfortable by the amount of people in this small port. HIs expectations were completely blown out the window.
"It's too late to turn back now. And, since my funds are slowly dwindling, it might do me good to try to find some work to do."
Rapha monologue to himself.
Then,he stops to look around
"hold on a minute, I have no idea where is anything at all!"
Rapha realized.
"Maybe I should ask the locals for some directions. But, preferably somewhere less crowded "
Rapha ponders on that question until he sees a float house. He would decide to go there for directions.

Arriving at the entrance of the float house. He would notice 3 individuals.
*A half elf with green eyes, with a bow on her back and blades on her waist. "hmm, she might be a fighter or a ranger"
*A sea elf with yellow eyes. "Sea elf? She looks like a fish out of water despite being near the ocean"
*Lastly and not least, A fairy with red hair like flames. "I don't see fairy very often. Apparently they are a sign of good luck....or a sign you are about to recieve the worst curse in your life"
After Rapha spent a few minutes observing the building, and seeing that the others wouldn't want to enter. He decides to open the door and......
kept his balance, the floating bar sway every now and then like a boat on a peaceful sea.
"Thanks me for this cane. It would bring me great sorrow if I dirtied myself on these filthy floors of this bar"
Rapha thought to himself as if he scans the surroundings of the bar like a cleaning inspector that came in to check if the restaurant was following the guidelines.
