The Windward Nomads

Overview
The Windward Nomads are a diverse group of coastal dwellers, independent islanders, and nomadic seafarers who have formed an informal alliance. Known as outsiders, they value their cultural independence and prefer to avoid direct involvement in the Coral Council’s politics. Instead, they represent a free-spirited approach to life on the seas, living off the land and ocean without a strict governing body.

Goals
The Windward Nomads aim to preserve their freedom of movement, protect their fishing and coastal rights, and maintain cultural independence from the larger factions within the alliance. They generally seek peaceful coexistence and view the alliance as a means to protect their way of life.

Alliances & Tensions
The Nomads align with the Saltblood Syndicate on trade issues, benefiting from shared interests in open markets and safe travel routes. They have a tense relationship with both the Deepcrest Legion and Stormfang Reavers, who sometimes encroach on their territories and resources, challenging the Nomads' autonomy.
