Victor Yeslich

Brother-Paladin in the Order of the Burning Lance and Lord Commander of Brighthearth Keep.

Victor Yeslich is the Lord Commander in charge of the governance of Brighthearth Keep and holds the rank of Brother Paladin in the Order of the Burning Lance.   He was born and raised near the city of Valachem, in The Principality of Remaria. As the youngest of three sons of a minor landed noble, his own prospects for the future were limited. While his eldest brother would inherit the family lands, and the other likely be granted a small fief of his own in return for military service; Victor was in the unfortunate position of having been born to a noble family that did not have enough influence to curry favors for a third son.

Hence Victor moved from his father's household and settled in Valachem full-time when he had only seen twelve winters. He took up working for a distant cousin that owned a modest cargo handling company with only one warehouse. It was actually a twist of fate that Victor went from working the docks to becoming a member of The Order of the Burning Lance.

Victor was busy filling orders after four years of working in his cousin's warehouse when a group of knights from on of the Orders-Militant of The Temple of the Divines arrived to place an order for supplies. The Order had an expedition heading West across the sea, and were also looking for additional hands to hold spears in their lines. Upon speaking with the knight about his own family background and early martial training before he left for the docks, Victor was swept up and taken along. Since then, he has served The Order of the Burning Lance in the Western Realms. He has risen through the ranks and proven himself an able leader. Nearly three decades later, he now sits as the Lord Commander of Brighthearth Keep.
