Terenholt

Terenholt is a former nation of Valathe that stood on its own as a sovereign nation until the War of Empires swept through its borders. In the wreckage, it joined the Aletheian Empire as a border state to the Medimian Empire and the new frontlines for the war.
Formerly closely linked to immigrants from Iskaldhal and indeed, formerly a fiefdom of Hvalgora, Terenholt was a nation with many secrets and skills. Due to the war, though, Terenholt's civilian populace has now largely been displaced or killed. Its well-trained military, strong enough to largely stand up to threats from the two empires bordering it, has mostly been absorbed into that of its new reigning empire.
