A human mother gives birth to a half-drow, the living embodiment of her previous torture.
Some wounds don't simply heal. Lirien's mother, a human woman, was assaulted nine months prior by an unknown drow male, and though she had hoped otherwise, his seed had quickened within her. Lirien was born of an act of utter depravity into a more peaceful world than most drow, but this has not spared her the sharp words and justifiable discrimination many practice against her kin.
