Shimmerlight Forest

A forest that surrounds the largest lake in Elsland. Tales told by the local Halfling population often speak of faeries, elves, or other fae-like creatures being responsible for the glimmering lights sometimes seen coming from inside the forest to lure lost children away.

Geography

A wooded area with lush trees, bushes, mushrooms, among other other flora and fauna. Sunlight peers through and shines brightly against the grass and wildflowers.

Localized Phenomena

It's said you can see shimmering lights coming from the forest though the locals don't know what the exact cause of it is.

History

Stories from the local countryside farmers explain how elves and other fae creatures used to live there. Rumors say some still live there and they are the reason for the mysterious shimmering lights.
