Mage hand prosthesis
This type of prosthesis was invented by an unlikely pair that consisted of a smart Elven wizard by the name of Gaelin Wranvyre and a handy Dwarven blacksmith, Adrul Underfinger, who were the final two soldiers remaining after a brutal battle between the two races. Both suffered gruesome injuries to their limbs (the dwarf lost an arm at the shoulder and the other hand and the elf lost a hand, a leg at the knee, and the other foot). After the battle they agreed to help each other by designing this device that would allow for each to successfully return to their professions with minimal complications.
It works by projecting the mage hand cantrip at a higher strength to allow for balance or strength when wielding tools or weapons. It provides almost the exact same range of motion and precision as the real limb.
