Relationship Between Nature and Sapient Creatures

The sapient population and the natural world rarely intermingle. Few people leave the confines of a civilization for more than a day or while travelling to the next town over. The flora and fauna that exists in nature does not appreciate sapient creatures trampling in its home, just as they don't appreciate nature spreading into civilized areas.
