Hair Cutting

Siek Elves tend to take great pride in their hair, letting it grow to extreme lengths and only rarely cutting it. The cutting of an elf's hair is only done in a formal, ritualistic setting and only done once a year at the most, according to elven law.

Hair Color

An elf's hair color is said to be intrinsically connected to their magical ability. The most powerful magic is said to belong to elves with red hair, then comes blonde. Brown hair is seen as less powerful than blonde hair, but more powerful than black hair.

Hair Styling

Elves tend to style their hair in intricate up-dos or partial up-dos. Elven women are more likely to opt for a partial up-do thanks to the current fashions of the time, while elven men tend to opt for complete up-dos for the same reason.

Thanks to the current elven fashions, showing the back of your neck is said to be a masculine trait.
