Disaster / Destruction
In the midst of the tumultuous conflict known as the War of the Gods, divine warriors clashed in the celestial realm, rallying their followers to fight for their conflicting beliefs. The skies crackled with lightning, and the earth shook beneath the weight of celestial battles. Mortals trembled, caught in the crossfire of the gods' wrath. As the war escalated, the once-glorious realms of existence became scarred with devastation. The cries of the wounded echoed through the heavens, and the essence of the universe wept for the chaos that unfolded. It was then that Demortu, the solemn and enigmatic God of Death, recognized the destructive path the war had taken. Filled with compassion and a deep understanding of the fragility of life, Demortu beseeched The Creator, the ultimate being who had birthed the gods and the universe, to intervene and put an end to the conflict. Demortu knew that if the war persisted, the very fabric of existence would be torn asunder, leaving irreversible scars upon both the divine and mortal realms. With a heavy heart, The Creator heeded Demortu's plea. Their divine presence, radiating power and authority, descended upon the celestial battleground. The gods, momentarily stunned by The Creator's arrival, ceased their battle and bowed before their progenitor, sensing the gravity of the moment. The Creator's voice, imbued with wisdom and love, resonated through the heavens. They spoke of the consequences the war had wrought upon the universe, the suffering of mortals caught in the crossfire, and the imbalance that had engulfed the divine realms. The gods listened, their hearts heavy with remorse and understanding. In their divine decree, The Creator banished the gods from a direct presence on Ithon, the beloved planet that had been their shared creation. The gods were to withdraw from mortal affairs, allowing humanity to chart its own course, with only subtle guidance and indirect influence. In the aftermath of the war, the gods retreated to their respective celestial realms, reflecting upon the lessons learned and the role they would play in the future.
