Bonnie is a barmaid in The Yawning Portal, getting the job when she first came to Waterdeep about a year ago. She's best described as a no-nonsense, dedicated woman who puts her job first.
She is particularly fond of Mattrim Mereg, with whom she has grown close to over the past few months. Bonnie trusted Mattrim to tell him her secret: that Bonnie is a doppelganger, who is aiming to live a simple life and no longer be on the run from people that would hunt and destroy doppelgangers.
She and 4 of her fellow doppelgangers have taken up residence in Waterdeep in the last year. Durnan knows Bonnie's true nature, but being a great judge of character he doesn't care because she's a good employee and he knows she has no malice or evil intentions in her heart.
After conversing with Threestrings and some of the Trollslayers, she has agreed to help out the Harpers if they ever reach out to her, so long as they keep her true nature a secret.
