Dalakhar

A rock gnome under the service of Lord Neverember, Dalakhar was a spy and master thief who was able to successfully recover the Stone of Golorr from the lair of the Xanathar. He was unable to leave the city as he was constantly hounded by different factions due to the hunt for the stone. He heard about a group of adventurers who saved Renaer Neverember from the kidnapping and torture of Zhentarim agents. With nowhere else to turn and suffering under the mistaken impression that the adventurers were loyal to Neverember's lordship, he believed that those same adventurers could help him get out of the city and get the stone back to Lord Neverember. On the very day he intended to meet with those adventurers, he was chased by Zhentarim agents and killed in a fireball explosion that was caused by a rogue nimblewright. His body was looted by Urstul before the Trollslayers could make sense of the situation. The Trollslayers were able to use their connections to speak with Dalakhar's departed spirit, gleaning all the information about the fireball and the stone that they could.
