Maxeene

Maxeene is an awakened horse that acts as a spy for the Harpers. Aside from other Harper agents, no one is aware that she is fully capable of understanding and speaking common. Her day job is a cover and a fantastic source for gathering information: she pulls a dray around the city every day, eavesdropping on all sorts of conversations to glean useful information that she reports to Mirt and Remallia. Not much else is known about her, other than that she keeps her awakened nature a secret and she loves apples, carrots, and violets, as evidenced by the violets she keeps tucked behind her ears at all times. The hapless teenagers that are in charge of running the dray have no idea where the flowers come from but they don't really care.
