Xanathar

The Xanathar is a mysterious figure and the evil leader that runs the criminal enterprise known as The Xanathar Guild. Very few people have ever seen or talked with the Xanathar, and even fewer have survived their encounters with the mad monster. Even Xanathar Guild thugs have no idea who their boss is, but they sure know the consequences of disobeying. The Xanathar has been described as a paranoid megalomaniac to the highest degree, never having left the safety of their lair in Skullport, a city deep in the Undermountain. "The Xanathar" is just a title passed down to the leaders of the guild. Multiple Xanathars have plagued both the Undermountain and Waterdeep for over a century now. No one knows how long the current Xanathar has been running the gang, or what their greater goals are. Whatever they are, it is apparent that the Xanathar does not care for rule of law or decorum, urging his evil lackeys to murder and steal and blackmail and raid and rob and worse just to accomplish their mission.
