Blackstaff Vajra Safahr

Vajra Safahr is the archmage and high wizard of Waterdeep, a title known as The Blackstaff. The Blackstaff is a position that's charged with keeping Waterdeep safe from danger in times of crisis. To this end, Vajra has created a special operations team of powerful adventurers and agents, known as Force Grey. Force Grey can only be deployed on official business if ordered to do so by the Open Lord of Waterdeep. Otherwise, Vajra must use extreme discretion when mobilizing Force Grey and the Grey Hands for smaller matters. Vajra is a human woman of diminutive height. She is the youngest Blackstaff to have ever held the position, and has worked tirelessly to prove herself worthy of the honor and responsibility. In addition to being the leader of Force Grey, she also oversees the day-to-day functioning of The Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors and the Blackstaff Tower, which houses an elite preparatory magic school known as Blackstaff Academy.
