Avitoise

Avitoise is a majestic city upon which innumerable palaces, courts and places of entertainment were built, a metropolis where even common peasants and sellswords may one day rise to the status of noble knights. The city is led by the Conseil des Chevaliers, a group formed by the five latest living winners of La Grande Poursuite, the most famous contest of Avitoise. In addition to this event, several lesser Joutes and Tournoi d'Épées are held during the year. These competitions are particularly fierce, as many individuals use these events as a mean to impress spectating Chevaliers and, in turn, to become Chevalier Errant themselves.
