Seer

The gods of the pantheon sometimes bestow powerful magical abilities to certain inviduals. These individuals became known as Seers, the physical embodiment of the gods themselves.

History

The first Seers were "born" during the Age of Seers. For the full length of this era, Seers were the only humanoids capable of using magic, making them some of the most powerful individuals in Ivaenlis at the time.
With the advent of the Era of Magic, many people became able to siphon the magical energies left by Davna, making the distinction between Seers and students of magic difficult. As such, the general population believes Seers to be extinct and those who claim to be Seers are often branded as heretics.
